This year, one of Latvia’s best-loved rock bands, Dzelzs Vilks, celebrates its 35th anniversary and invites you to its anniversary concert, “35 Vilka Gadi,” on 28 November at the LOC Rose Hall. The band’s anniversary year has got off to an incredible start: it has received the “Gamma” award for Latvian Rock Band of the Year for the second time. “We’re not stopping. With a celebratory feeling in our hearts, we’ve sifted through the best of what has accumulated in Dzelzs Vilks’ soundtracks over 35 years, and invite you on an unforgettable, emotion-filled journey. In one concert, sing-along songs from the Wolf’s golden age will come together with powerful echoes of the nineties and future music from the upcoming album. Join us!” the band invites you. Dzelzs Vilks are unusual trailblazers. The voice, charismatic performance style and boundless energy of the band’s leader, Juris Kaukulis, are unlike anyone else’s.
