Outdoor Photo Exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987–2007–2025”

The association “Viena Diena.lv”, as part of the “Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027” programme, will open the outdoor photography exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987–2007–2025” on Friday, 9 October 2026, at 11:00 in Jāņa Čakstes laukums, Alejas iela 15, Liepāja. The exhibition invites visitors to discover the city and its people across three different periods. It will be on view until 12 November 2026. Alongside historical photographs of Liepāja, the exhibition will feature works created in 2025 during a photo plein air event held as part of the international conference “Vision & Voices 2025”. The images reveal the everyday lives of Liepāja residents, the urban environment and changes over almost 40 years, offering a chance to encounter both a familiar and a previously unseen Liepāja.
