Outdoor photo exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987–2007–2025”

The association “Viena Diena.lv” will open the outdoor photography exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987–2007–2025” on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 at Jāņa Čakstes laukums, Alejas iela 15, Liepāja, as part of the “Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027” programme. The exhibition invites visitors to discover the city and its people across three different periods. It will be on view until November 12, 2026. Alongside historical photographs of Liepāja, the exhibition will feature works created in 2025 during the photography plein air event held as part of the international conference “Vision & Voices 2025”. The images reveal everyday life in Liepāja, its urban environment and changes over almost 40 years, offering a chance to encounter both a familiar and an unseen Liepāja.
