Spookily Interesting Science at Dabas māja

The Liepāja Education Department’s Science and Education Innovation Centre invites everyone on Saturday, 31 October, from 16:00 to 19:00 to an adventure for intrepid explorers, where science will take on a mysterious and slightly spooky atmosphere! Are you ready for experiments that will make your eyes widen in amazement and send a little shiver down your spine? You’ll find out how a liquid can become solid, how mysterious red balls form, and why a pencil looks broken in water. You’ll make your own unusual liquid, explore optical illusions, and uncover surprising secrets of chemistry and physics. The bravest can learn about the structure of a cow’s eye, while the most curious can examine spiders up close and under a microscope. There will also be science experiments reminiscent of a haunted swamp, lots of bats, and creative workshops where art meets science! Come with your family and see for yourself—science can be surprising, exciting and, yes, a little spooky! Admission: 5 EUR per person. Applies to participants aged 5 and over. Suitable for visitors of all ages. No advance booking is required. See you at Dabas māja, Zirgu sala 2! Groups of more than 10 visitors are asked to book in advance by calling the administration on 26 644 834 or emailing dabasmaja@liepaja.edu.lv.
