Outdoor Photo Exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987–2007–2025”

As part of the “Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027” programme, the association “Viena Diena.lv” will open the outdoor photography exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987–2007–2025” on Friday, 9 October 2026, at 11:00 in Jāņa Čakstes Square, 15 Alejas Street, Liepāja. The exhibition will invite visitors to discover the city and its people across three different periods. It will be on view until 12 November 2026. Alongside historic photographs of Liepāja, the exhibition will feature works created in 2025 during the photo plein air event organised as part of the international conference “Vision & Voices 2025”. The images will reveal the everyday lives of Liepāja residents, the urban environment and changes over nearly 40 years, offering a glimpse of both familiar and previously unseen Liepāja.
