Guided Tour and Gin Tasting at ŌBDO Distillery

Join an informative adventure at ŌBDO, a Latvian craft gin distillery and Riga’s first open-type distillery, at Miera Street 29! Two brothers with Riga at heart have embarked on an exciting craft gin journey, introducing the world to Latvia’s natural riches and creating a unique Latvian gin flavour. ŌBDO was inspired by Latvia’s pristine, unspoilt nature. Alongside classic gin ingredients, production also uses distinctive ingredients found in northern meadows and forests to create a unique Latvian craft gin flavour.

Discover the world of craft gin and hear fascinating stories about gin history, distilling gin and current developments. You’ll also learn the ŌBDO story, see how ŌBDO gin is made, and taste both ŌBDO gin and Genever, considered the first distilled alcoholic drink to be made with juniper berries.

The experience includes:
- 1 ŌBDO gin cocktail tasting (1 × 150 ml) on arrival
- An informative talk about gin history and distilling
- An introduction to our sustainability initiatives and products
- A tasting of authentic Dutch Genever (20 ml)
- Tastings of ŌBDO SŌUL gin (20 ml), ŌBDO ADŌRE gin (20 ml) and ŌBDO NEGRŌNI (20 ml)
- A tasting of ŌBDO x Rocket Bean, Latvia’s first gin coffee liqueur (20 ml)
- A tour of the Latvian craft gin distillery, an introduction to its production processes and the experience of setting up the distillery
- 1 ŌBDO gin and tonic or ŌBDO Negroni cocktail
- A tasting of authentic bean-to-bar ŌBDO DZIIVA chocolate, made in Latvia using ingredients from gin production
- Light snacks

Maximum group size: 18 people. Duration: 2–3 hours, depending on group size. Available to people aged 18 and over. Please note that you must not drive after the tasting.

For groups of 4 or more, private bookings are available on weekday evenings. For groups of 6 or more, tours are also available on Saturdays, subject to the distillery’s availability. Maximum group size is 18. To book a private group, email hello@obdogin.com.

We understand that plans can change, so you may cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before your booking. For later cancellations, 50% of the participation fee will be retained.
