Kenneth Dahl Knudsen Quartet (DK)

On 19 November, the Kenneth Dahl Knudsen Quartet, led by Danish bassist Kenneth Dahl Knudsen, will perform at M/House of Jazz. The evening will feature deep basslines, an electric sound, funky moods and playful improvisation. The quartet’s changing rhythms will take the music in unexpected directions while keeping the groove alive and giving the concert both energy and a sense of humour.

Kenneth Dahl Knudsen performs across Europe, Asia and the Americas. His music is rooted in jazz and also draws on funk, rock and various musical traditions he has encountered. Vivid melodies intertwine with rhythmic exploration, storytelling and spontaneous interplay.
