Rock and Organs: Ballads. Premiere | 19.11.26 (20:00)

There is rock music where melody, rather than volume, takes centre stage. This time, ROCK AND ORGANS will reveal a different side: the programme will centre on famous ballads and pieces that have long been classics of rock music. The organ will meet electric guitar, bass guitar, vocals and percussion. This combination will allow familiar music to be heard anew—from a lyrical, almost chamber-like sound to powerful climaxes from the full ensemble. The rock ballads will retain their recognisable character while gaining the breadth and depth of the organ’s sound. Concert duration: approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. *The musicians will be in the nave, by the altar.
