Rescheduled! JAZZ JAM SESSION | Purpur [DK]

“Purpur” is a Danish band bringing together seven young women with individual musical backgrounds in jazz, pop and folk. Together, they shape Purpur’s sound, blending Danish-language lyrics and complex horn arrangements rooted in Nordic traditions. They bring out the best in one another, creating intricate arrangements that combine jazz’s freedom and improvisation. Purpur immerses itself in the melancholy of Nordic music and invites listeners into a community with the high energy and festive spirit associated with roots and folk music.
