Illusionists Pecolli present: a mystical experience show, “13” – Thirteen.
As the autumn season of spirits begins, the Mystero Illusion Theatre invites audiences to a show in a format never experienced before: each performance is limited to just 13 spectators. Performances take place in the Mystery Room on the second floor of Mystero Theatre on 30 and 31 October and 1 November.

The show combines magic tricks, storytelling and theatrical elements. Its source material is based on true events—at least as far as we believe them to be…
The performance is interactive. Spectators will take on the roles of witches and inquisitors, join the clairvoyant Hanussen’s final séance, visit an American orphanage shrouded in mystical legends, learn the secrets of the eccentric Blavatsky, and witness the power of their own thoughts. And much more…
The aim of the show is not to frighten, but rather to explain some popular superstitions and symbols associated with fear, so that we can understand their origins and effects. Despite the seemingly serious subject matter, the atmosphere is light and humorous. The mystical and unknown have always fascinated people because they are interesting.
Illusionists Dace and Enrico Pecolli/Pezzoli have travelled to many countries, deliberately seeking out and exploring the mystical stories of different peoples, using original sources wherever possible. This interest has led them to acquire many historical objects and artefacts connected with religious, cultural and historical, and mystical traditions. Many of these can be seen on tours of the museum led by the Mystero Illusion Theatre/Museum. More information: www.mystero.lv
Why “13”? For example, the Tarot card “Death” is numbered 13; in Christianity, 13 is considered an unlucky number in connection with the Last Supper; and the term “triskaidekaphobia” comes from Greek and describes the superstitious, pathological anxiety some people feel about the number 13. In fact, 13 has always been associated with transformation, rebirth and change, and can be interpreted in either a positive or negative way. How will we interpret it? As a beautiful new beginning, free from fear.
