Climathon 2026 Sustainability Hackathon

Are you excited about the future, sustainability, and helping develop the city? Then this event is for you! «Climathon 2026» is a three-day hackathon that brings together people with different experiences, skills, knowledge, and interests to jointly develop practical, innovative solutions to real environmental and urban challenges.

Over three intensive days, you will:
💡 Work in a team to tackle a real challenge;
🌱 Develop an innovative, sustainable solution;
🤝 Meet people with different skills and perspectives;
🚀 Present your idea to a professional jury;
🏆 Compete for prizes and the opportunity to continue developing your idea.

You don’t need to be a climate expert or a programmer—the most important thing is a willingness to get involved, think creatively, share your perspective, and work together on solutions that can bring about positive change. Bring your experience, ideas, or simply your curiosity. We’ll create the rest together!

👉 Register for «StartSchool», «Chipathon», and «Climathon 2026» for a chance to win tickets to «TechChill 2027» and become part of a community that doesn’t just talk about change, but actively helps create it.

More information will be available as the event approaches. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the event coordinator, Anna Ločmele (anna.locmele@rtu.lv)!
