“Home Players” is a story about a family, carried by airy lightness and painful humour, as they try to find words, the truth and one another. A son who has been away from his childhood home for years returns to have his final conversations and hear everyone’s side. Their conversations bring out stories left untold and truths distorted. How well do we really know those closest to us? Through a father, a son and a mother, the play explores how the body, memory and unspoken feelings shape our closest relationships. What is real, and what is a distorted picture? Nuutrum’s production moves along the boundary between intimate realism and absurdity, speaking about our perception of truth, responsibility and what remains between family members when life takes a turn.
The performance is in one act and lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Suitable for ages 12 and up. Premiere: 12 November 2026 at the Kammersaal of Sakala 3 Teatrimaja (Sakala 3, Tallinn).
