Crime Comedy “Stockmann Yard – Department Store Villains”

Crime comedy “Stockmann Yard” – Department Store Villains

Rich customers, picture-perfect salespeople and audacious thieves—welcome behind the scenes at Stockmann! Life in the legendary department store gets crazier by the day. Goods mysteriously disappear, and a gang of crooks feels right at home among the shelves. The department store’s security team, Stockmann Yard, is powerless, because the trail leads somewhere no one dares to look. Could one of the employees be in cahoots with the crooks?

A furious inspector arriving from Finland adds to the chaos, determined to set things right. A game of cat and mouse begins, bringing love and greed, naïveté and cunning into collision. Who will get caught? Who loves whom? And who will leave the department store in handcuffs?

Based on a Finnish bestseller, this production is both a crime story and a comedy. It pokes fun at human weaknesses while offering a crash course in the hidden world of shoplifting—one that will make you look around the department store with fresh eyes next time.
