Special Dinner: East Meets East

On November 17 and 18 at 19:00, enjoy a special dinner with Taavi Immato at Karukella Puhkemaja. For two evenings in November, Karukella Puhkemaja becomes a place where Ida-Virumaa meets Asian flavours, good wine and the company of a small group of lovely people.

Taavi Immato will be at work in the kitchen for Karukella Maitseseiklus. He reached the final of the TV show “MasterChef Eesti: Kuulsused köögis” and came second. Guests will be served a four-course menu created especially for Maitseseiklus and inspired by Asia: a welcome bite, tiger prawn cappuccino, mild Indian-style butter chicken and New York-style cheesecake. One of the dishes also featured in Taavi’s MasterChef final.

The food will be accompanied by wines from Lüganuse Veinikoda, adding a local touch to the flavours of the world.

Karukella has no large restaurant hall or dozens of tables. Each evening, only a small group gathers here to slow down, taste, talk and enjoy. Previous Maitseseiklus guests have also valued this private, homely atmosphere as one of the evening’s highlights.
