Come and spend enjoyable winter days surrounded by Kihnu handicrafts! Kihnu handicrafts are much more than beautiful patterns and colourful körts (traditional skirts): they tell our story and embody skills and knowledge passed down from generation to generation, which deserve to be preserved.

At Kihnu Handicraft Week, you can learn, experiment and make things alongside local craft masters. You don’t need to come with a set plan—you can bring your own handicraft idea or an unfinished project and work with a craft master to figure out how to continue. Topics will also be shaped by participants’ wishes, so everyone can focus on the craft skill they want to learn or develop further.

Both beginners and more experienced handicraft enthusiasts are welcome!

Participation:
Free for Kihnu residents
€10 per day for other interested participants

You can attend on any day that suits you or for the whole handicraft week.
