Akadeemia Street Book Club: “Oh, the Horror! Estonian Horror Literature”

On 12 November at 17:30, the Akadeemia Street Book Club meets again in the hanging room at Pärnu Central Library. This time we’ll take a closer look at Estonian horror literature: inexplicable events, chilling secrets, ghosts and people’s fears (which, as we know, have big eyes). The works of Estonian writers include both classic ghost stories and modern horror tales that set the imagination in motion and may haunt you long after you’ve finished reading. A suggested reading list has been put together to inspire the discussion. You don’t have to read every book on the list—choose a work that interests you and come talk about it with others. Your own favourites, reading experiences and recommendations are welcome too. See you at the book club! Event on Facebook.
