Could AI draft meeting minutes, summarize a long document, or help plan your week? It can, if you know what to ask and what to check. In this workshop, you’ll try AI tools on real office tasks.
Who it’s for: Office professionals and managers from various fields.
Level: Applied; also suitable for people who have only tried AI once.
Format: Two 90-minute sessions with a break in between.
Part one covers how AI works, its uses in office work, and how to write a good prompt. Part two covers checking responses, risks and data protection, accountability, and the EU AI Act. Each part includes two practical exercises.
After the workshop, you’ll be able to:
1. Name three tasks in your own work where AI can save time.
2. Write a precise prompt.
3. Spot errors and fabricated facts in AI responses.
4. Decide which data must not be given to AI.
Before the workshop: Bring a laptop or smartphone and create an account with an AI tool such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini. The free version is enough.
Participation is free. During the second part of the workshop, we’ll ask you to complete a short feedback form.
The workshop is led by Konstantin Jallai, a master’s graduate in educational technology and an adult educator, level 6.
Time and place: 20 November 2026, 14:00–17:00, Tartu Oskar Lutsu City Library, Kompanii 3/5, Tartu.
