Playful Tantra Evening in Pärnu

When was the last time you played? Not on your phone or with children, but just for the fun of it, as an adult. Everyday life turns us into sensible, practical people. Our shoulders are up by our ears, our minds keep churning, and that warm feeling towards other people tends to get buried under our worries. This evening, we’ll look for it again.

Three hours of movement and play, with little need for words. We communicate through eye contact, touch and voice, listening to and noticing one another. Sometimes we laugh; sometimes we fall completely silent. We explore what happens when you allow yourself a little more softness and briefly set aside the masks and roles you need during the day. Most often, people find themselves feeling alive again.

Everything happens at your own pace. Every practice is voluntary: you can say “no”, “not now” or “in a different way”, or simply observe. Boundaries are respected, which makes it possible to feel at ease. You are welcome just as you are. You don’t need any skills or prior knowledge. Men and women are welcome, alone, with a partner or with friends.

Participation fee: 35 euros. Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. You’ll keep them on all evening. The day before, we’ll email you more detailed information.

About Virge Kuivjõgi

I first encountered tantra in 2010. Within a couple of years, my studies became regular, and soon I began organising tantra events in Estonia. In 2018, I completed Lin Holmquist’s training and Deva Vihba’s dance teacher training.

You probably know that you don’t learn to swim on the shore. I think tantra is exactly the same. That’s why I’ve carefully refined the programme for my evenings and courses, so that everything important reaches you not just through words, but above all through play and experience.

I really enjoy creating these evenings. Every time, I’m moved when someone comes through the door a little cautiously and later goes home with a smile on their face.
