Jazziministeerium #1 [Art Blakey]

JAZZIMINISTEERIUM #1 [ART BLAKEY] JAZZ PURIS x PHILLY JOE’S

On Thursday, November 12, a new jazz series begins at Restoran Puri in collaboration with Philly Joe’s Jazz Club. Once a month, we’ll bring a lecture-concert to Puri, focusing on a jazz musician who has left their mark on music history. The first evening will focus on the legendary Art Blakey.

This is a relaxed, informal jazz evening. You can arrive at the restaurant at any time between 17:00 and 21:00. When buying your ticket, please select your planned arrival time so we can organise guests’ arrival and dinner as smoothly as possible.

🎷 The lecture-concert and live music begin at 19:30.

Dinner is served from Puri’s usual à la carte menu, and you can choose dishes on site according to your preference. Food and drinks are not included in the event ticket price.

During the evening, you’ll hear fascinating stories from jazz history and, of course, live music performed by acclaimed Estonian jazz musicians.

Performing:
Aleksander Paal – saxophones
Allan Järve – trumpet
Jaan Jaanson – guitar
Gustavs Saulitis – double bass
Reigo Ahven – drums
