Niinagu

A camera eye moves through a dewy meadow towards evening. A scenic, fast-paced visual performance with few words, welcoming even the youngest theatre-goers (ages 3 and up). The production was inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. It expresses pure emotion and draws on intuition and the joy of creating—moving and creating exactly as the feeling dictates. Brought to life by two actors, a wild, playful world of encounters unfolds on stage. This is a road-theatre production (road movie), with more than 40 different characters flying across the stage—from flaming tulip blossoms to mischievous foreign chickens, pointless fish and mud-bath creatures.
