Niinagu

A camera’s eye moves through a dewy meadow towards evening. A scenic, fast-paced visual performance with few words, welcoming even the youngest theatre-goers (ages 3 and up). The production was inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. It expresses pure emotion and draws on intuition and the joy of creating—moving and creating exactly as one feels. Performed by two actors, a wild and playful world of encounters comes to life on stage. This is a road-theatre production (a road movie), with 40+ distinctive characters flying across the stage—from blazing tulip flowers to trick-performing foreign chickens, pointless fish and mud-bath creatures.
