Niinagu

A camera eye moves through a dewy meadow towards evening. A scenic, fast-paced visual performance with few words, welcoming even the youngest theatre lovers (ages 3 and up). The performance is inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. It expresses pure emotion and draws on intuition and the joy of creating—moving and creating exactly as the feeling takes you. Performed by two actors, a wild and playful world full of encounters comes to life on stage. This is a road-theatre performance (road movie), in which more than 40 distinctive characters fly across the stage—from flaming tulip blossoms to mischievous foreign chickens, nonsensical fish and mud-bath creatures.
