Niinagu

A camera eye moves through a dewy meadow towards evening. A picturesque, fast-paced visual performance with few words, also suitable for the youngest theatre-goers (ages 3 and up). The performance was inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. It expresses pure emotion and draws on intuition and the joy of creating—moving and creating exactly as the feeling takes you. Performed by two actors, a wild and playful world full of encounters comes to life on stage. This is a road-theatre performance (a road movie), with 40+ varied characters flying across the stage—from flaming tulip flowers to trick-playing foreign chickens, pointless fish and mud-bath creatures.
