Niinagu

A camera eye moves through a dewy meadow towards evening. A picturesque, fast-paced visual performance with few words, also welcoming the youngest theatre-goers (from age 3).

The performance is inspired by the colourful work of Estonian artist Kristi Kangilaski and her painting “Tulipead”. It expresses pure emotion and draws on intuition and the joy of creating: moving and creating exactly as the feeling takes you. Performed by two actors, a wild and playful world full of encounters comes to life on stage.

This is a road-theatre performance (road movie), with more than 40 very different characters flying across the stage—from flaming tulip blossoms to trick-playing foreign chickens, pointless fish and mud-bath creatures.
