Jägala Waterfall Winter Marathon / Half Marathon 2027

Let’s see winter off together on the last day of winter! Come run a beautiful winter route and enjoy the journey to Jägala Waterfall, one of Estonia’s most beautiful natural attractions.

Marathon
Start: Randvere School car park at 09:00
Route: Randvere – Maardu – Jägala Waterfall – Maardu – Randvere
Distance: approx. 44 km

Half marathon
Start: by Maardu Community Centre at 10:00
Route: Maardu – Jägala Waterfall – Maardu
Distance: approx. 25 km

Route information
A traditional sprat sandwich and hot tea will be waiting for all runners at the Jägala Waterfall car park. The route runs mostly on paved roads and offers beautiful winter views. The main turn-offs are marked with directional arrow signs. There is one refreshment point on the route, at the Jägala Waterfall car park. We recommend that each participant bring enough drink and energy to complete the distance.

⚠️ Participation is at your own risk. Please take care when crossing roads, as there will be no traffic controllers. Please note: the Jägala Waterfall Marathon may be wet, cold, snowy and slippery, and therefore dangerous—especially when running along the roadside. Participation is at your own risk; the organiser accepts no responsibility for possible injuries. Registering for the event confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Timing and awards 🏅
Official timing is chip-based. Results will be submitted to Janek, who manages Marathon100 statistics. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal at the finish. This is a small event.
