Fundamentalist

“Fundamentalist” is a story about love. Its characters are Markus, a forward-thinking pastor who has publicly admitted to being a tool of Satan, and Heidi, his former close friend, who has drifted through life like a lifeless log. On a fateful autumn night, Markus and Heidi meet again, beginning a spiritual war and a search for truth between them. Along the way, they must reconsider what they believe and why. What is truth? Can several truths exist at once? Is it possible to help another person selflessly? How far can one go in that pursuit? How far does one person’s responsibility for another extend? What is fanaticism, and at what point does it become dangerous? You can meet Markus in the small hall of Von Krahli teater and hear the pastor’s personal confession.
