Ensemble Vox Clamantis
Conductor Jaan-Eik Tulve
In 2026, ensemble Vox Clamantis celebrates its thirtieth year. Having begun with singers devoted mainly to Gregorian chant, Vox Clamantis has since become a leading ensemble performing contemporary vocal music. The thirtieth-anniversary concert brings together Gregorian chant from the first millennium and music from the 21st century. We are pleased to give the premieres of two works: one written by ensemble founding member Toivo Tulev, and the other by Toivo Tulev’s student and current ensemble singer Ryan Adams. The programme also includes music by long-standing ensemble singer and composer Tõnis Kaumann, Helena Tulve, Arvo Pärt and Lithuanian composer Justė Janulytė.
