Fotomuuseumi Christmas Special: Making Christmas Ornaments Using Cyanotype

We invite our friends young and old to Fotomuuseum on 14 December from 1–3 pm to get into the Christmas spirit! Enjoying warm glögi, you can make beautiful, unique Christmas tree ornaments using the cyanotype technique. Cyanotype is a photographic process dating back to the 19th century, in which UV light, water and iron-based chemicals are used to create images. In the workshop, we’ll try out the method and decorate Christmas baubles with the images we create. All necessary materials and tools are provided on site. The workshop is suitable for participants of all ages and is a wonderful opportunity to spend a magical day in December with family and friends.
