Estonian-language songs about real life—at the crossroads of country, folk, blues, and rock.

Formed in Tallinn in 2017, Revals is a band whose music brings together American roots music and the Estonian tradition of storytelling through song. Country, folk, blues, and rock intertwine in their work to create a distinctive Revals sound: powerful and direct, yet warm and melodic.

All of Revals’ songs are inspired by personal experiences or events that really happened. They portray life as it is: people and places, love and longing, a sharp eye on society, a healthy dose of humor, and stories that can be both painful and beautiful.

The band has released three albums, received three Estonian Music Awards nominations, and reached the semifinal of Eesti Laul 2020 with the song “Kirjutan romaani.” Listeners may also know Revals songs such as “Ma ei pea sind jagama,” “Oma hambaga,” “Allpool jõge,” and many others.

A Revals concert is an authentic, energetic meeting with good Estonian-language music, strong musicianship, and stories that have the taste of real life.

Parking: Construction work is currently underway in the Hipodroomi intersection area, but parking is still convenient. Free parking is available on Mineraali Street (spaces are limited). Alternatively, we recommend using the large Europark car park next to the Telia building. From there, you can easily reach the café by crossing the road at either the large intersection crosswalk or the crosswalk by the car wash.
