Tour of the Victoria Bastion Casemates

The Victoria Bastion Casemates are passageways built into the bastion in the late 17th century. They now house a tourist attraction, with guided tours, quests and various programmes. During the tour, you will learn about the history of Narva’s fortifications, the role of the bastions in wartime and peacetime, treasures that only a few brave souls dared to search for, and the inhabitants of the bastions, whom you may get the chance to meet! The temperature in the casemates is 0°C in winter and 15°C in summer, so warm clothing is recommended in summer. Visitors are also provided with blankets during the tour. Visiting the casemates is not recommended for children under 5. It is also not recommended for people who are afraid of enclosed spaces, have limited mobility, or suffer from vestibular disorders or dizziness. The tour is conducted in Russian. NB!
