Comedy: Lost over the English Channel

Viljandi Seasaare Theatre will entertain you on the stage of Kihelkonna Community Centre. John and Christine are preparing for a cosy dinner, to which their close friends are also expected. Everything changes in an instant when Natalie bursts through the door—confused, distraught and in tears. She announces that the plane carrying her husband, Patric, who was supposed to be flying home, has reportedly crashed over the English Channel, and according to the news there are no survivors. As Natalie tries to cope with her grief and her friends comfort her, John learns from the news that the lottery ticket he bought on a whim has won the astonishing sum of 60 million pounds. “Lost over the English Channel” is a fast-paced, witty production in which life’s biggest twists can arrive at the most unexpected moment—when fate feels like having a laugh at your expense.
