Dance Hobby Education Anniversary

The Estonian Dance Hobby Education Association celebrates its 9th anniversary, bringing together the dance hobby education network, its members, young dancers, dance teachers and parents, as well as valued partners and friends. Two productions created for this event will premiere at the anniversary celebration.

18:30 — The gala opens with the children’s dance performance “MIKU GOES PICKING BLUEBERRIES”, directed by Kaili Viidas, with musical design by Feliks Kütt. The performance’s voice was provided by Hele Palumaa.

The evening continues with a dance performance by young people in the older age group, “I DON’T WANT TO HEAR THE ECHO!”

“I can no longer hear the noise, the reflection of a voice, the bouncing of sound. I want to be in my most neutral state — standing quietly.”

Special guest: NOËP. Artistic director: Markus Ian Monak.

More than 200 dancers from 18 dance schools across Estonia will perform. At the end of the gala, the Estonian Dance Hobby Education Association will recognise contributors to the field and its cooperation partners.
