There is a lot of talk about AI agents, but the most important question is: when are they genuinely useful? Who is this workshop for? People who already use AI and want to better understand the possibilities of AI agents and how to use them in practice. In this workshop, you’ll get a practical overview of what an AI agent is, how it differs from a standard chatbot, and what tasks it can support or automate.
In the workshop, you will:
- Understand what an AI agent is and how it works.
- Learn to distinguish tasks suited to an agent from those that are not.
- Design a practical agent use case or workflow.
- Review the main risks: data, access permissions, errors and human oversight.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a simple agent use case designed around a real work task. Bring a laptop. No prior experience creating agents is required.
The workshop is led by Marika Juusu, a trainer in the practical use of AI who helps participants find real work tasks for AI and make its use in everyday work more systematic, effective and safe.
