Two legends of the Old Town live among us: the Devil’s Wedding and the Cat’s Well. On Halloween night, we invite you to join us and step together into the mysterious world of these stories.

As darkness falls over the city, our journey begins on The Burman terrace. On a walk through the shadowy streets of the Old Town, historian Jaak Juske will bring its stories and legends to life. On our return, we’ll enjoy blood-red cocktails by candlelight, and the evening will culminate in a wedding banquet at Écrin restaurant, where it is not entirely clear who the groom is.

Come to the wedding banquet in costume! The wearer of the evening’s best costume will receive a special prize: an overnight stay for two in the Kellalac Suite, directly above the Cat’s Well. And, as befits the evening, this room has a story of its own.

They say that on the last evening of October 1850, a young woman arrived at the hotel and asked for a room with a view of the Cat’s Well. As midnight approached, she covered her face with a veil and went across the street to a wedding. She never returned. All that remained in the room was her suitcase and the question of what happened to the bride on that October night.

What to expect

17:00 — The Halloween terrace and Écrin restaurant open. Candlelight, blood-red cocktails, and a special red wine sale open for this evening only.

18:00 and 19:00 — A walk through the haunted Old Town with historian Jaak Juske.

22:00 — The first dance and costume contest. The evening’s best costume wins an overnight stay for two in the Kellalac Suite, directly above the Cat’s Well. DJ Möls will keep the wedding party going with devilish beats.
