Oskar Seeman’s solo show about fatherhood, “Refrään”
The verses are forgotten. The refrain remains.
“Refrään” is a comic solo show about what we want to pass on to our children, what we don’t, and how much freedom of choice we have in the matter at all. Because children don’t just pick up what we try to teach them. They also inherit our habits, fears, ways of getting angry, keeping quiet, loving, or making jokes at the most serious moment. The hardest things are those you don’t want to pass on, but can’t let go of yourself. What do you do with them? Turn them into a joke?
On stage: Oskar Seeman
Director: Andreas Aadel
Authors: Oskar Seeman and Andreas Aadel
The premiere is on Saturday, 14 November at 19:00 in the Palanga theatre hall at Hestia Hotel Strand, Pärnu. Performances take place on 14, 21, 28 and 29 November, and 4 and 6 December at 19:00. The theatre café is also open on site one hour before each performance.
