Oskar Seeman’s solo play about fatherhood, “Refrään”
Verses are forgotten. The refrain remains.
“Refrään” is a comedic solo play about what we want to pass on to our children, what we don’t, and how much freedom of choice we have in the matter at all. Because children pick up more than just what we try to teach them. They also inherit habits, fears, ways of getting angry, keeping quiet, loving, or making a joke at the most serious moment. The hardest things are those you don’t want to pass on but can’t let go of yourself. What can you do with them? Turn them into a joke?
On stage: Oskar Seeman
