Katarsis is a Lithuanian alternative rock band whose sound moves between alternative rock, post-punk and indie. The band, from Vilnius, blends different soundscapes, with pain, longing and personal liberation—catharsis—at their core.

In 2024, Katarsis released their debut EP, “Dausos”, followed by their debut album, “Žiedlapis tau”, in January 2026. In 2025, the band represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Tavo akys”, placing 16th in the final. After Eurovision, Katarsis’s music reached an increasingly large international audience.

In autumn 2025, Katarsis played a sold-out concert at Paavli Kultuurivabrik, and in 2026 the band performed at Tallinn Music Week. Katarsis continues to develop its sound, moving forward with new music and different performance formats.
