18.12 • Metal Friday: MALEVA + DREADPIN @ The Krypt, Tallinn

The December edition of Metal Friday, our monthly concert series dedicated to local and international metal bands. This time, Maleva take the stage to celebrate 20 years of activity, alongside local progressive metal band Dreadpin.

⚰️ MALEVA
Special 20th anniversary concert! Formed in 2006 on the island of Muhu, Maleva have spent two decades exploring different facets of heavy music. While their earlier work leaned towards thrash, death metal and heavy metal, their latest album, “Saab maailm otsa,” brought Finnish-style death metal elements into their sound. The band last performed at The Krypt a few years ago, at Sügis Extreme Fest, and now return for a special anniversary concert. The band are currently recording a new full-length album at our own Sügis Productions recording studio with producer Are Kangus. The first single, “RAUAST JA ROOSTEST,” is already out. ⚰️ DREADPIN
Active in Tallinn’s underground scene since 2008, Dreadpin are an Estonian progressive metal and rock band known for complex rhythms, interwoven guitar lines and layered vocals. Their ambitious songwriting and polished live performances have earned them wide recognition in Estonia’s underground scene. Dreadpin are a familiar name to The KRYPT’s audience, having played here several times and delivered great concert experiences each time.

👻 The Krypt - Spooky Bar and Stage is an independent concert club in central Tallinn and the only horror-themed bar in the Baltics. The Krypt has hosted hundreds of events featuring local and international bands, as well as vintage horror film nights, mysterious dance performances, flea markets and an extreme metal festival, with much more planned for the future. National radio station Rock FM awarded The Krypt / Sügis Productions the Organizer of the Year award, recognising their significant contribution to promoting rock and metal music in Estonia. More recently, a co-owner was also nominated for “Venue Manager of the Year” at the European WILM Awards. The Krypt offers a distinctive nightlife experience where dark aesthetics meet live music—a place for those looking for something out of the ordinary.
