Laval koos Argo Aadliga: an evening of comedy sketches | Tartu Aleksander | 17.12.2026

When was the last time you laughed from the heart? IMPEERIUM Impro Theatre performs with much-loved Estonian actors. This time, Argo Aadli steps into unexpected situations—you’ll see sketches created on the spot, humorous characters, engaging scenes, hit songs, and more.

Argo Aadli graduated from the Theatre School of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2002. He has worked as an actor at Tallinn City Theatre since that year. He has appeared in the films “Names in Marble” (2002), “Malev” (2005), and “The Little Comrade” (2018). For the TV series “ENSV”, Argo won the Best Actor award in the television category at the Estonian Film and Television Awards in 2017. Among other awards, Argo has received the Oskar Luts Humour Award. On the improv stage, Argo is unpredictable, sensitive, and admirable. As Argo’s legendary character Herbert Ving once said: “I’m the kind of person who isn’t afraid of the media either. I want to have my say—wherever I see something wrong, I’ll point it out, sometimes even several times.”

Performers: Argo Aadli, Merilin Kirbits, Maarius Pärn

The performance has two acts. Improvisational theatre is a unique form of theatre where everything happens before the audience, here and now—the text has not been memorised, and the story has not been made up in advance. Every performance is therefore unique, unrepeatable, full of surprises—and, of course, delightfully witty! Inspired by words suggested by the audience, exciting improvised scenes, funny sketches, engaging songs, and witty characters take shape. Depending on the performance format, only certain rules of the game are agreed in advance; the characters and stories are created on stage, with imagination as the only limit.

P.S. Audience participation is entirely optional. You are very welcome to enjoy the performance without joining in!
