Creative Mosaic Workshop in Tallinn | For Friends and Colleagues

Looking for something unique for your next celebration or team event? The distinctive ïque mosaic studio offers you the chance to take some time out together and create a piece of art, bit by bit, using one of the world’s oldest art techniques. No previous artistic experience is needed—everyone leaves the studio with a unique mosaic picture!

What will we do in the workshop?

A calm, meditative creative process: we’ll design and assemble a mosaic picture, cut the material with mosaic nippers, grout it and polish it. We use ceramic tiles as reclaimed material.

A pleasant atmosphere: the unique, colourful studio is like a mosaic universe. Its walls are covered with mirror and ceramic-tile mosaics, while plenty of plants and twinkling lights make it cosy.

A piece made by your own hands: everyone assembles an 18 × 18 cm mosaic picture, which can be used as a practical household item, for example as a trivet. If you wish, you can book a longer workshop and create a larger group picture together, such as a logo.

Making use of reclaimed materials: all the mosaic materials and the plywood used for the bases are second-hand.

For friends, relatives and colleagues

A mosaic workshop for up to 10 participants is a memorable, creative way to celebrate a birthday with friends or relatives and a glass of champagne. Each participant will have their own mosaic picture to remember the gathering by.

The workshop is also ideal for colleagues: spend time together in a setting different from the usual, let your thoughts flow as you create, and enjoy a glass of your favourite drink. You can bring your own food and drinks to the studio; the necessary dishes are available on site. You can also choose the music you like.

Included in the price: work and safety equipment, a wide selection of ceramic tiles, and an 18 × 18 cm picture base.

Making a mosaic is a meditative, creative activity that gives the mind a rest while also offering something beautiful to look at. Mosaic-making is not just about arranging colourful pieces of glass or tile in a row; it also involves a fair amount of getting messy with grout. Polishing the work clean of grout feels really good.
