In November, at Curiosity Morning, we’ll explore the journey food takes from field to pot. We’ll see how a seed in the soil eventually becomes food on our table, and the different stages Estonians’ favourite foods go through before reaching store shelves. Families can enjoy games, puzzles and interactive exhibits.
🔎 What can you make from flour?
🔎 How does milk become cheese?
🔎 Where do bananas come from?
Curiosity Morning helps children understand the connections between nature and people, and offers an educational, entertaining and tasty way to spend time at the museum. We’ll finish the programme at Leivatare, where participants can also get hands-on with food preparation. Cookies, cocoa, marmalade, butter and raisins will become a delicious kirju koer.
If you’re wondering where to go with the children on a Sunday morning, come to MUHK in Ülenurme (just outside Tartu) to discover, play and create as a family!
