Comedy: Lost over the English Channel

Viljandi Seasaare Theatre comes to Valjala Rahvamaja with a comedy!

John and Christine are preparing a cosy dinner, to which their close friends are also expected. Everything changes in an instant when Natalie rushes through the door—confused, distraught and in tears. She announces that her husband Patric’s plane, on which he was due to return home, has reportedly crashed over the English Channel, and according to the news there are no survivors.

As Natalie tries to cope with her grief and her friends comfort her, John learns from the news that the lottery ticket he bought on a whim has won an astonishing £60 million.

“Lost over the English Channel” is a fast-paced, witty play in which life’s biggest twists can arrive at the most unexpected moment—when fate feels like having a laugh at your expense.
