The album will be released digitally and on CD digipak, cassette and 12-inch vinyl. It is the band’s first album with vocalist Mathias-Erik Tempel and drummer Simo Atso, and follows its self-titled 2022 debut, which was named Metal Album of the Year at the 2023 Estonian Music Awards.

Ocean Districts began in Tallinn in 2011 as a side project and soon grew into a full band. They have performed at festivals, toured the Baltics and Finland, and supported well-known international acts in their genre. The five-piece began with post-hardcore and post-rock influences, but has gradually moved away from instrumental music. Their 2023 album “Phantom Islands”, nominated for an Estonian Music Award, featured guest vocalists including Robin Juhkental. Vocalist Jonathan Flack joined the band a year ago. Their new album, “Pulsar”, will be released in November. Its first single, “Superstar Destroyer” (23 September), points to a new direction where the band’s heavy sound meets atmospheric and experimental elements.
Mobisa Mobisa offers listeners a unique blend of psychedelic stoner rock, coloured by grunge and post-rock elements. Their songs weave together dark and bright tones. Mobisa Mobisa plays heavy music with a light heart and invites listeners on a journey where each song is an exploration from the end of the tunnel towards the light.
