The casemates of Victoria Bastion are tunnels built in the late 17th century. They now house a tourist attraction offering guided tours, escape games and various programmes. During the tour, you will learn about the history of Narva’s defensive system, the role of the bastions in wartime and peacetime, treasures that only a few daredevils ventured to seek, and the people who lived in the bastions, whom you may even get to meet!
The temperature in the bastion casemates ranges from 0°C in winter to 15°C in summer, so bring warm clothes in summer. Blankets are also available to visitors during the tour.
Visiting the casemates is not recommended for children under 5. It is also not recommended for people who are afraid of enclosed spaces, have limited mobility, or have vestibular disorders or dizziness.
