Pärnu Museum – Pärnu’s story begins here

Pärnu Museum welcomes visitors! The museum’s new permanent exhibition, “Madonna and the Key. Manifesto and Bathing Cart,” takes visitors on a colorful journey through history, telling four unique stories about the region. Discover Pärnu’s past up close in the permanent exhibition halls: “The Source of Our Story,” “A Tale of Two Cities,” “The Birth of the Nation-State,” and “Summer Capital Pärnu.” A cozy children’s room and beloved book characters Nuuskur and Raimond the Herring make for an enjoyable visit for the whole family, introducing visitors to the treasures of history as they explore the permanent exhibition. The new open storage area presents objects from the museum collection that visitors do not usually get to see. The gallery halls host changing exhibitions on a range of subjects, from history to art.
