Autumn Grapevine Pruning – Practical Training

Autumn pruning of grapevines doesn’t have to be complicated! We’ll learn hands-on what to prune, what to leave, and how to shape grapevines for the next season. We’ll cover:
- Principles of autumn pruning
- Selecting fruit-bearing canes
- Different shaping techniques
- Common diseases and pests
- Principles of fertilising
- Covering grapevines and preparing them for winter

And most importantly—we’ll do some actual pruning on site!

Trainer: Taisi Oss, a qualified adult educator with over 15 years of training experience and more than 20 years of practical gardening experience. Taisi has also been a long-time gardening instructor at Tartu Rahvaülikool.
