We all have our own place. Or do we? And even if we do, are we happy with it? We always want a slightly higher place in the rankings, a slightly warmer place in life, and a slightly softer place to land. The students of Tartu Waldorf School have a very clear wish: they want a place of their own in the school hall. That is why the school’s parents, alumni, students and friends will take to the stage one autumn evening to reflect on their place in their own way: through music, storytelling and theatre.

The first part of the concert is like an open stage, where you never know what will happen. In the second part, you’ll see selected scenes from “Tasase maa laul” (“Song of the Flatland”), a concert performance staged by the Tartu University Mixed Choir last autumn, featuring Maarja Jakobson, Siim Angerpikk and Liidia Baranyai alongside the choir.

Everyone who buys a concert ticket helps fund chairs for the TWG assembly hall. A café will be open on site before, during the interval and after the concert; payment in cash. A raffle will also be held, with the prizes remaining a surprise for now.

Doors open at 18:00.
