Oskar Seeman’s solo show about fatherhood, “Refrään”
Verses are forgotten. The refrain remains.
“Refrään” is a comic solo show about what we want to pass on to our children, what we don’t, and how much freedom of choice we really have in the matter. Because children don’t pick up only what we try to teach them. They also inherit habits, fears, ways of getting angry, staying silent, loving, or making a joke at the most serious moment. The hardest things are those you don’t want to pass on but can’t let go of yourself. What do you do with them? Turn them into a joke?
Featuring Oskar Seeman. Directed by Andreas Aadel. Written by Oskar Seeman and Andreas Aadel.
Premiere: Saturday, 14 November at 19:00 in the Palanga Theatre Hall at Hestia Hotel Strand, Pärnu. Performances take place on 14, 21, 28 and 29 November, and 4 and 6 December at 19:00. The theatre café is also open at the venue one hour before the show.
