The event in Jõgeva alevik focuses on the characteristics of Estonian potato varieties and how they can be grown, offering practical knowledge and experience for home gardeners and others interested in choosing a suitable variety and better understanding modern potato cultivation. During the day, visitors can explore a potato exhibition, sample different varieties and take part in a potato-dishes workshop. Jõgeva folk dancers will help create the atmosphere. A café will be open, and goods from local producers will be available to take home. Attendance is free for everyone.
