Maili Metssalu Concert

Maili Metssalu’s concert takes listeners on a journey into a dreamlike secret world. Her songs are filled with the enchantment of nature, layered emotions, poetry, and something hidden in the depths of the soul that we don’t encounter every day. Maili Metssalu is a singer, actress, and television presenter. She released her debut album, “Kahe une vahel,” in autumn 2022. The collection draws on nearly ten years of experiences and feelings, both grand and profound, and light and bright. It also includes works by Estonian poets and secret whispers from Scottish women. At the concert, the singer’s mellow, shimmering voice intertwines with guitar, piano, bass, drums, and backing vocals to form a unified whole. The music is not all delicate and fragile: the full band takes listeners soaring. Joining Maili on stage is Jaan-Eerik Aardam, a musician with a distinctive guitar style whose sound adds a jazz feel to the songs. The concert takes place in the hall of Kuuste Kool and starts at 19:00. Doors open at 18:30. More information: aive.vahejoe@kambja.ee
